Fume Cupboard Extract Systems

To ensure that all our fume cupboards and ventilated enclosure installations perform efficiently, safely and with the minimum of noise levels, we design, fabricate and install all our own systems.

Building layout, laboratory environment and type of fume are all considered when designing an exhaust system.

Energy conservation is an important feature in any laboratory environment and we can offer a number of cost effective solutions, which include variable air volume (VAV), 2 speed fan and bleed air energy systems.A range of fans are available which are fabricated from corrosion resistant materials, motors are available either single or three phase.

Fire damper and fire collar information available upon request.

Other materials used for fabrications are:

  • Zintec Coated Steel 
  • GRP Coated PVC to give Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame in accordance with BS476 Part 7

Integrated Laboratory Services Ltd offer a service to supply and fit all necessary electrical equipment to control and operate our exhaust systems, e.g. Control panels, isolators, interconnecting wiring and fan stop/starts.

All PVC ductwork is fabricated in accordance with HVAC DW154, and all installations and commissioning comply with BS7258 Parts I - IV and EN 14175.

Certain installations may require ductwork to be fabricated from fire retarding materials, please contact our office for further information.
