Fume Cupboard Specification

• Framework fabricated from powder coated mild steel.

• A wide range of work surfaces available including solid grade laminate (Trespa ) or solid epoxy resin.

• 6mm toughened glass sash, counter balanced on slim-line weights running on corrosion resistant nylon pulleys.

• 6mm toughened glass side viewing panels

• Air ByPass Grille.

• Sash stop set at 400mm and 25mm.

• 55W fluorescent low energy light fitting. Light switch located on front of support frame or cabinet.

• Back baffle easily removable for cleaning and maintenance.

Fume Cupboard Support

The fume cupboard can be supported on a powder coated mild steel frame or integral powder coated storage cabinet ( see photo 2 )

Fume Cupboard Services

• Cold Water Outlet into 100 diameter vulcathene drip cup complete with waste bottle trap.

• Gas Outlet.

• 13Amp Double Electrical Socket

• Fan Switch

 • Service control valves are located at the front of the support frame or storage cabinet.

Generally most fume cupboards will require the following services:-

230V/20A electrical supply ( connect to the rear of the service panel )

Drainage ( 38mm vulcathene )

Water, gas etc terminated with solid copper pipe 10mm dia.

A suitable extract system.
