The ducted ventilated workstation from Integrated Laboratory Services Ltd, offers capture of fume at source by using downdraught air-movement technology. The workstation is specifically designed for specimen, dissection or histology work, but can be adapted to suit other applications where operator exposure exceeds the M.E.L. (Maximum Exposure Limit ) as laid down by the H.S.E.

The ventilated workstation is fabricated from high quality 316 and 304 grade stainless steel, all bowls and worktops are fully welded, radiused and polished to the highest standard. The bench is supported on a sturdy frame with removable panels to the front enabling easy access to all services.

Transport of the air is downwards through the perforated worktops, via a central spigot located within the sink area. The downdraught take-off spigot opening is protected by an adjustable cover which also allows for balancing of air over the complete perforated work surface. All perforated worktops can be removed for cleaning and decontamination. Ergonomic design offers full length knee space, for sitting position, and standard bench height for standing. All services are mounted for ease of use and future maintenance.
